The curriculum
Created to encourage young people to draw on their own experiences, the #GoodforMEdia curriculum aims to empower audiences to explore new ideas & strategies for navigating social media in a healthy, productive, and purposeful way.
Learning objectives
Our workshops explore and discuss the following questions. We can also cover additional topics — just let us know!
What role does social media have in our lives?
In what ways does social media impact us?
How can we increase the benefits & decrease the pitfalls of social media?
For youth, by youth
The #GoodforMEdia curriculum is designed for youth ages 13-24 years old. Our team offers in-person and virtual workshops in a variety of settings, including:
classrooms & schools
youth-serving organizations & groups
conferences & community events
Workshops are led & facilitated by youth leaders who strive to promote healthier relationships with social media and technologies.

What our audiences are saying
“Really enjoyed the segments presented by youth. It makes the presentation & presenters feel more relatable and creates a great atmosphere for conversation.”
“I loved how you presented and made it a conversation rather than a lecture!”
“I really liked talking about different ways social media can be positive or negative for mental health.”
“I want to be the GoodforMEdia panelists when I grow up. They were so impressive and insightful.”
“There were so many mic drop moments during the panel!”
“I don't always get to participate in the product consultation sessions that our team does with teens, so this was a wonderful experience hearing directly from the people we are building for.”
